APPLICATION GUIDELINES 

We encourage applications from artists representing the widest possible range of perspectives and demographics.

ELIGIBILITY

The Golda Meir Foundation accepts applications from artists working in the following disciplines: architecture, film/video arts, interdisciplinary arts, literature, music composition, theatre, gastronomy and visual arts. The sole criterion for acceptance is artistic excellence. Emerging as well as established artists are invited to apply. 

We are committed to a policy of nondiscrimination and equal opportunity for all persons regardless of race, sex, color, religion, creed, national origin or ancestry, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, physical ability or disability. 

APPLICATION PERIODS & DEADLINES

Artists may apply only once every 24 months. Golda Meir Foundation will only accept applications for the upcoming deadline.

Accepting Applications:

Deadline: Jan 15, 2022

Residencies:
Jun 1 – Sep 30, 2022

Accepting Applications:
Oct 15, 2022 – Jan 15, 2022

FALL 2022

Deadline: Apr 15, 2022

Residencies:
Aug 1, 2022 - Sep 31, 2022

Accepting Applications:
Feb 15 - Apr 15, 2022

APPLICATION PROCESS

Send an email to info@goldameir.foundation with the following documents:

  1. Valid ID 

  2. Work Samples (Work samples supporting the proposed project and completed within the past four years are requested.)

  3. References

  4. Motivation Letter (Why would you like to be part of the Golda Maier Artists Fund)

NOTIFICATION

Applicants will be notified of admission status approximately 2 months after the applicable deadline, on or near the dates listed below:

​

  • Summer residency notification: March 15th

  • Fall residency notification: June 15th

  • Winter/Spring residency notification: November 15th
